Evan has worked with children as a teacher and educational leader for the past 30 years and recently retired as the Principal of Tuggerah Public School in New South Wales. He travels extensively, using a love of motorcycling and kayaking as an excuse to visit less-travelled destinations.
Carolynn Everett worked for The Salvation Army for over twenty years, in various areas including Community Welfare. In 2002, Carolynn and her husband Doug moved to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Doug was the General Manager of Sally Ann – a Salvation Army Fair Trade project – and Carolynn worked with him there for several years.
ABOUT
We had created a step ahead program where assist homeless children who have disabilities, we offer education and training to get them back to school or help them become employed. Our stay-in-school program is aimed to help children who live in rural areas an education and stay away from the dangers of the city. We provide the students with everything that they may need such as uniforms, textbooks, stationary supplies, hand bags, book bags and more. The safe & sound program aims to attempt and stop human trafficking and slavery. This also goes hand in hand in our project x is aimed at helping, saving, and rehabilitating sex trafficking survivors. And finally, out legal advocacy helps in trying to assist the children legally by hiring lawyers.
